Yesterday's Things ( Kal ki Baten...)

Today we have so many modern gadgets to help us in our every second of our day. Sometimes I feel they have made our life more artificial. We are so much dependent on them, it is difficult to imagine what would happen if they are not there. Take an example of mobile phone. If one goes out without it, he feels like he is missing something.
How simple? I was thinking how we were managing the things when mobile was not there. We were meeting people, were recognizing them and life was going on.
Communication.... it has become so fast, sometimes it is difficult to imagine what would be the future.  Kal kya hoga.. It would be another topice. आज कल (yesterday) की बाते कर रहे हैं to kal ki hi bate karte hain.
I couldn't wake up on time today. Reason- Alarm didn't ring. Some problem with the clock. What was happening when there were not alarm clocks?  Still people were getting up early as per the time decided. They say there is something like body clock. Maybe we were using our ability to set our mental reminders and these mental reminders were making us wake up. Now are the things like clocks/alarm making us loose (not to use )these abilities??...
Same problem with physical fitness. Walking was routine. Now, even if we want to go to grossary shop which is just 200 meters away from home, we take out our bike. .... another example of how we are harming ourselves and our nature...
At some moment of time we need to think and decide upto what extend we should be dependent on them. Where to use them and where not.

Morning Walk

After a long gap again I am visiting my blog. Thanks to "Morning Walk" ..... Fresh Air full of energy makes one look at reality with totally different prospective.
I wish i should have a tape recorder or a recorder of some sort which could record all my thoughts there and whenever I am alone or whenever I feel like lost, maybe I will just play that and listen to those thoughts. Thoughts full of enery , Full of positiveness.
I wish, my eyes act as cam recorder and I could record the beauty in nature, beauty in morning sky... those wonderful colours of the dawn in my eyes. Morning fresh air fills me with lot of energy every day.
When a day starts with such a positive note what else one needs?

After a long GAP

Arrived to the office early in the morning with lot of enthusiasm about many things to do, but lost and was sitting idle for some time thinking what to do.
Opened Internet explorer and thought of going through some blogs to know what others are doing. Came across some good blogs and then I realized mi too have started some blog some years ago and I have totally forgotten about it. I remember the eagerness and enthu when I started it, but........ I think it was the type of enthu one has for new things always.
Anyway, better late than never. Today I could remember my blog and am writing again. This is not less. Let me see if I can continue it with new passion.

Having strong fundamentals, India provides lucrative investment opportunities to foreign companies, but the country's corporates can be tough competitors as they are growing at a fast pace, a report has said

Business opportunities in India

In recent past india has become most favorite investment destination in the world. With GDP rate consistitently more than 8% in last few years which is contineously growing, it is no surprise that more and more foreign direct investment is being attracted towards India.
When I thought about the title " Business opportunities in India", I was having few sectors like Information technology, textile and leather, media in my mind as in day to day life we read a lot about it. But when I thought about knowing more about the sectors which are really doing good and can have lot of potential and started browsing through web, going through available literature information I came across was a sweet surprise.
Following are some figures which I think could be interesting to know which sectors are really growing thereby offering opportunities in those fields. There are the figures about sectors and their growth rate % during 2005-2006

Automotive 20.00%
Biotechnology 37.42%
Software and ITES (IT enabled services) exports 32.60%
Tourism 20.20%
Retail 20.00%
Heavy Industry 16.90%
Textiles 9.25%
Gems and Jewellery 6.32%
Steel 9.70%
When one looks at these figures, there is no wonder that almost every sector is promising. It is upto the invester to know his competencies, give a little thought and decide to invest into sector of interest.
While discussing with many of our overseas clients I always feel that they are worried about the beaurocracy, number of documents involved, time required to execute the projects.......list is long. But when you compare the benefits against the trouble always one will notice that benefits out of investing in India are far more than the risk and initial trouble.
Things are changing, but those will not change so fast. But this is the time to invest.
